2004 bay Oldenburg gelding by Dumont out of Gabriele. DJ is a beautiful mover with very elastic big ground covering gaits. He is 18.5hh, however he is long legged and short coupled, so he is not difficult to put together. He has a wonderfully kind and quiet disposition and just loves to be groomed and handled. He is a full Hanoverian by blood, but is registered with Oldenburg, N.A. He should be equally suitable for a dressage or jumping career. His half-brother is successfully competing as a show ring hunter on the "A" circuit and is consistently in the ribbons. His other half-brother is Diez who has proven to be quite successful in the dressage ring. DJ injured himself in the pasture several years ago, and although he is sound and very rideable, I don't feel he will pass a vetting. He is back in work, however he is still fairly green and at this point in hsi training he still needs an experienced rider. In an effort to find him a suitable home and rider, I have decided to offer him for free to an owner who is a good fit for him.
